Terms & privacy

Terms for using Wolfhound and how we handle your personal data.

Terms of use

Wolfhound is an online marketplace for Irish Wolfhound listings, magazine content and messaging between registered users.

By registering, posting listings or uploading content you accept these terms. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Only registered breeders with a valid kennel name and approved kennel club membership may publish dog listings. Puppy mills, misleading listings and duplicate ads for the same dog or litter are prohibited.

Sales and handover of dogs happen directly between buyer and seller. Wolfhound is not a party to those transactions and does not guarantee the health, pedigree or suitability of any animal advertised.

We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these terms, applicable law or community standards, with or without prior notice.

Paid services (Premium subscription, featured listings, partner advertising) are described at checkout and in your account billing area. Payments are processed by Stripe.

User content

You may upload photos, text and other content related to your listings and profile. You must own the rights to what you upload or have permission to use it.

Do not upload illegal content, malware, content that infringes third-party rights, or material that is abusive, fraudulent or misleading.

External links must not point to illegal sites, competing classified sites without permission, or pages that breach these terms.

Privacy

We process account data (email, profile, kennel name), listing content, messages, billing records via Stripe, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Legal bases include performing our contract with you, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement) and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies).

We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Stripe for payments, and email providers for transactional and support messages. Data may be processed in the EU/EEA and by subprocessors listed in their respective policies.

You may access, correct or delete much of your data via Settings. You may request account deletion; some records may be retained where required by law or for billing disputes.

For privacy requests contact us via the Contact page. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. Optional cookies are used only with your consent. See the Cookie policy page for details.

Changes

We may update these terms and our privacy practices. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
